Can we just rewind a bit? I have been very busy lately but I have some Peet's brewed up and I am sitting down to document to you the most fantastic of trips that I took to Sandpoint, Id. this last Fourth of July. It was really great to check out Nana and Papa's home and town and to spend time with them and Auntie Tracey. I even had the chance to meet and play with Daisy. What a great dog! I think I like dogs. I had never been to Idaho of course and it is absolutely lovely! Mom and Dad took me swimming in Lake Pend Oreille, for lunch at the Elks Golf Course and too two Fourth of July parties. Nana and Papa have a lot of friends that live on the 'hill, or close to it. I met:
Gary and Velma Wescott
Gail Legget
Seija and Dennis LaValley (Dennis is a Husky fan, but I still liked him)
Steve and Tam Wescott and their son and daughter
Carlene and Gordon White
Barb and Bob Shupe
Pete and Carol Lopushok
Jodi and Richard Riggs and their kids Jordon and Matthew
Art and Sue Andrews and Art's father Ray.
I know there are more people I met...but c'mon, I was only 8 months old then.
Anyway, I had a great time and I know Mom and Dad did as well. On the trip home we had a layover in Seattle and Buddy and Sue Sue and Auntie Claire and Lola and Cousin Beckett came to the airport to see us. I cannot wait until my birthday when I get to see all of my grandparents and aunts and uncles and cousins and friends.....we gonna party like its 2009 y'all.
Love to you all,
Ella
